Practicing medicine in the Upper Laurentians region offers a host of stimulating challenges! Here, medicine has many faces, and our practitioners and professionals become multi-skilled. The size of the region and its remoteness from major urban centers mean that we have to set up our facilities in a variety of geographical areas, including :

• Centre hospitalier de Mont-Laurier: a primary trauma center with an emergency room, four inpatient units and a general surgery department
• Rivière-Rouge Service Centre: emergency room, short-term beds, CHSLD, CLSC
• Many other services scattered across the country
